Carolyn was a great co-worker with a great attitude. I can see her smile and hear her little chuckle. It’s been a rough road these last years and I hope all can find peace in all the wonderful memories.

Carolyn was always so kind to me and so thoughtful. I remember working for her and Frank at the commercial printing business one summer and she was very patient with me as I was trying to learn the ropes. I asked her to write a letter of recommendation for me when the summer was over. I will never forget reading it and seeing a myself through her eyes as a capable, intelligent, and caring young woman. It was at a time when I needed words of encouragement and it filled my heart with warmth. When I think about the strong female role models in my life while I was growing up, Carolyn is one of the first that come to mind for me. It was always wonderful to talk with her about books and education. When I was older and would come home for the Holidays during my many years of college and post graduate education, I could always tell that she was genuinely interested in hearing about my studies and I always appreciated her encouraging words as I moved forward. I am thankful that she was my Godmother and a part of my life.
