Wayne was a friend, and how best to describe the kind of person he was is that he was very welcoming in 1976 when we opened our first dealership in Oelwein, the AMC-Jeep store that was in the old Zips hamburger building on S Frederick. Instead of being upset at more competition in town, Wayne and Judy were very welcoming. We are proud to call them friends! Wayne will be long remembered!

My thoughts are with the Liebe family. Wayne was always a gentle soft spoken man. Having been friends with Lori growing up and seeing him at the golf course, he always had a smile and a kind greeting. He will be missed in Oelwein. Prayers & peace.

Wayne and I were "Best Friends" and had many great times together. I always enjoyed buying cars and tucks from Wayne and you never knew IF he was giving you a extra good deal or joking with you. I certainly will miss being around Wayne and having some good laughs.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Liebe family. I have fond childhood memories of the Liebes and of Wayne. We bought many vehicles from Wayne and always knew he would treat us fair. In later years I often saw Wayne at the wellness center or the grocery store and he always had a kind word. He will be missed, safe home Wayne, God Bless ?
