Patsy Christianson, 77, of Hazleton passed away Monday April 5, 2021 at Buchanan County Health Center in Independence. Patsy gave as generously in death, as she did in life, by donating her body to the University of Iowa College of Medicine. There will not be services at this time.
Patsy Joan Christianson was born in Burlington on March 8, 1944 to parents James and Sarah (Ebben) Snowden. On March 1, 1991 she was united in marriage with Brian Christianson in Cedar Rapids. Patsy was employed as an Administrative Analyst with the U.S. District Court until her retirement.
Left to celebrate Patsy’s life are her husband; her nephews: Scott Hand of Palo and Mike Hand of Keystone; her great-niece Sarah Walker; her great-nephews: Deklan Hand and Jaron Hand; her brother- in-law Ken Asleson; her sister-in-law Judy Tobin; and her beloved dog Molly. She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings.
