Gramps, the fun times with Aaron and his '64 "409" ragtop, to Waterloo we went. You were always catching up so you were "Gramps". In your dad's station...working on our cars...so many memories...but time moves on. You were a good, faithful, loyal friend. My condolences to the Chapman family. Loel

Sorry for the loss of your bother/uncle. Larry was a good guy and he was very kind to me many years ago when I needed help with my car.

I have many fond high school days memories of my friend Larry, our nickname for him was "Gramps". Hanging out evenings at his Dad's station on South Frederick where we could piddle around with our cars. Our trips to Waterloo to visit the "Golden Arches" picking up a bag of burgers, fries and a shake for less than a couple of bucks and then over to Tunis Speedway for the stock car races! At our high school class reunions, I don't think he ever missed one, it was always good to see him and talk about the old days, we'd laugh at memories of go kart races where on more than one occasion he'd crash and throw his right shoulder out of joint and someone would have to help him put it back in place!
I won't forget you, Larry, I'll smile when I remember the fun we had and your quiet, kind and gentle ways. Rest in peace my friend.

Larry was truly one of the nicest people you will ever meet. I had a great time in my youth with the Chapman family, working for Larry on the farm and just hanging out with Larry and Dick and the Chapman family. Larry always had a smile and was there to help if you needed him. I will miss being able to see and talk with him. May God bless Larry and the whole Chapman family you are a great part of my memories and hopefully we still have some memories to make with the Chapmans.
We love you all
