Justin Sullivan, 33, of Independence passed away Thursday June 13, 2024 at the University Of Iowa Hospital.  Justin gave as generously in death, as he did in life by donating through the Iowa Donor Network.  A Celebration of Life will be held at Red Gate Park in Oelwein, beginning at Noon on Saturday July 20, 2024.  

Justin Allen Sullivan was born in Dubuque on December 9, 1990 to parents John Sullivan and Patrice Rathburn.  He attended Oelwein High School.  Justin was employed as a travelling CNA.

Left to celebrate Justin’s life are his father John Sullivan and his step-mother Jessica Sullivan; his daughter Juniper Rose Sullivan; his siblings: Daniel Sullivan of Sumner, Austin Sullivan of Independence, Mikel Sullivan of Oelwein, Kayson Sullivan of Oelwein, Zevon Sage of Manchester and Lila Sage of Manchester; his wife Emilie Hanaway of Independence; several uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his mother.
