So very sorry to learn of your mother's passing and to let you know that we are thinking of you all during such a difficult time. Your mom was a lovely person and will be missed by many in the Stanley/Aurora neighborhood. Hoping that you will find peace and comfort in each other's fond memories of June.

I heard about June's death through Facebook from Bonnie Meyers. I am sorry that June & I could not be closer as
live in Washington State. The times I did visit Iowa, she
had me for dinner & we visited about growing up together. My brother used to keep me informed about my Iowa family but he no longer is in a position to do that.
My sincere regrets go out to her husband & family.

June and along with Ron and her daughters were always supportive of our family. We had a few differences but when you share a 1/2 mile of "line fence", and both parties raise cattle, you find ways to "mend fence", (so to say). Little know fact: Back in the days before word processing, June typed my 30 page college senior seminar paper (with footnotes). RIP June.
