I know it's been a while since God took you. We only knew each other for a short time. I remember when you would wait for me to get off from work sitting on my steps and always had funny to say.i hope you and your grandmother are having a peaceful talk in heaven and enjoying your time together.

Hey so they let you smoke up there? You would like the song 'smoking section' by Jelly Roll. Anyway I was thinking about you and had to write something. Okay man we'll chat later.

Sincerely your friend Bill Gibbs

So very sorry for your loss. I worked with Derrick at Greene. He was such a jokester and will be sorely missed. What a wonderful sense of humor he had and could make anyone laugh and smile. Fly high Derrick. God speed to you! <3
