Benjamin John Campbell was born on October 17, 1984 in Independence, Iowa. Ben was raised and went to school in Oelwein, Iowa and later completed his education in Cedar Rapids, Iowa through Kirkwood Community College. Most recently, Benjamin worked in construction and has always been a man very proud of his hard work.
Ben was an extremely kind, passionate, smart, and talented man. He had a very impressive artistic ability that he was always proud to share with the world. Benjamin will be remembered for his acts of generosity, his heart of gold, his compassion for those in need, and for being the life of the party. He had a sense of humor that was second to none, he always knew how to make people laugh. Ben loved hard and showed that to all of his friends and family. Ben was very proud to become an uncle in 2010 and was very fond of his niece, Bayli.
Ben was preceded in death by his loving mother Barbara, his maternal grandparents June & Vernon, his paternal grandparents Hugh & Delores, and his uncles, Roger & Wayne Campbell. He is survived by his father Mark, his sister Amanda, his niece Bayli, as well as many other loving family members and friends. Benjamin was a very loved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and he surely did not have a shortage of friends who loved him like family.
Benjamin put a very big impression on this world both literally and figuratively while he was alive and that impression will last well beyond his time on earth. He is gone way too soon and the world was simply a better place with him in it.
