Agnes Fettkether, 92, of Oelwein passed away Monday July 1, 2024 at Grandview Healthcare Center in Oelwein.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  Inurnment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery at Oelwein.  The Geilenfeld-Buehner Funeral Home in Oelwein is assisting the family.

Agnes Fettkether was born in Manchester on April 26, 1932 to parents Henry and Josephine (Pasker) Fischer.  She attended Strawberry Point schools.  On April 26, 1958 she was united in marriage with Harold Fettkether at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Strawberry Point.

Left to celebrate Agnes’ life are her children: Patrick (Sandy) Fettkether of Pleasant Hill, CA and Ann (Jamie) Lockwood of Hiawatha; her grandchildren: Andrew Fettkether and Christopher Fettkether; her great-grandchildren: Rose, Shiloh and Salem.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters, and her husband Harold.
